Art, creativity and community will come together at St Mary’s Church, Marsh Gibbon, this September as Bicester Art Network returns for its second year running an inspiring local Art Festival.

Showcasing the work of 15 talented artists, the weekend promises a vibrant celebration of art, photography and handcrafted gifts, all set in one of Oxfordshire’s most welcoming village venues.

Visitors can look forward to meeting a wonderful mix of makers and seeing a rich variety of work on display, from original paintings and fine art photography to unique gift ideas. Among the featured artists are Alexandra Buckle and Becky Gouverneur, whose work brings colour, character and individuality to the event, alongside photographers Stuart Feurtado and Graham Perryman, whose images capture the world with skill, atmosphere and eye for detail.

The festival begins with a Private View on Friday 4th September from 6pm until 9pm £10, offering an early opportunity to enjoy the exhibition in a relaxed setting.

The event then opens to the public on Saturday 5th September from 10am to 5pm, and again on Sunday 6th September from 10am to 3:30pm.

Meet the artists

Alexandra Buckle is known for her distinctive creative style and beautifully considered work, while Becky Gouverneur brings her own artistic flair and originality to the festival. Stuart Feurtado’s photography offers engaging perspectives and striking composition, and Graham Perryman’s images reflect a thoughtful approach to capturing memorable scenes and moments.

With 15 local artists taking part, there will be plenty to discover, browse and buy. Whether you are looking for something special for your home, a gift with a personal touch, or simply a chance to support local creativity, the festival offers something for everyone.

A local day out
